Angela Stugren
Founder | CEO
Angela has more than 15 years of technical recruiting experience and has been involved in hundreds of technical hires across the Pacific Northwest. She was a Managing Partner & Vice President of a Seattle staffing firm where she managed the day-to-day operations including both sales and recruiting. She has also served as Interim VP of Career Development for a national bootcamp where she created their first Career Readiness Training and Employer Partner Program to support their diverse group of 450+ graduating students.
Eric Lenz
Client Lead Recruiter
Eric is a listener and problem solver with more than 3 years of staffing and recruiting experience specializing in technical, legal, and the creative fields. He uses that expertise as our Client Lead Recruiter to find out what our clients really need and helping them to find the right candidates for their hiring needs by bridging the interviewing gap. Eric grew up in the Chicago area and eventually relocated to Boston to pursue a degree in architecture, a childhood dream. After completing internships in the field, his interest began to wane. This was when he reached out to staffing agencies and was placed at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He eventually went back to the agency who placed him, convinced them he would be a good recruiter and here he is 3 years later. Outside of the office, he stays active by playing sports, traveling, and playing with his dog, Odin.
We Are Hiring
Business Development Manager
Our team is growing and we are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales and foster partnerships while working in collaboration with an amazing group of individuals. Since Cloutera is a startup, just launching its RPO services in July 2016, you will initially be responsible for customer validation and searching around a series of unknowns. You will need to be agile enough to deal with daily change, operating “without a map,” yet have fun helping us create messaging and a brand.
In the early stages of the role, you will be doing both in- and out-bound sales, so you will be managing the entire sales process for our clients from cold calling and working the field through networking with the initial goal of setting up five meetings a week.
Valerie Horvath
Account Executive
Valerie has truly mastered the art of a customer-focused approach. Her ability to engage and listen to her client’s needs is the backbone of her success. She believes in the Don Alden message “to give real service you must add something which cannot by bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.” Valerie has 6+ years of sales experience in numerous industries including retail, banking, and facility services. Her drive and genuine desire to go above and beyond for her clients is why she is a part of the Cloutera team.
George Kairis
Market Research
George is coming from the sales and marketing industry with 15 years of experience in the industrial consumer goods segment and has recently graduated with a B.A. in Finance and Management from the University of Washington. He has traveled extensively in Europe and the Middle East, helping his associates achieve their goals in sales and brand management. George applies his experience in sales and brand management to support Cloutera’s Market Research Team in developing go-to-market strategies, and in understanding the vast and diverse candidate marketplace.

Senior Technical Recruiter
Our team is growing and we are currently seeking a Senior Full Lifecycle Technical Recruiter who’s passionate about working directly with hiring managers, loves recruiting in the tech industry and can successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a tight timeline. This role will have you working with multiple client requirements, sometimes sitting onsite with the client, and requires strong consultative background and exceptional candidate generation skills. You have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize and thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment. As a member of an equally passionate team, you can roll up your sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done.
Daren Kerchinske
Research Analyst
Daren joined Cloutera after spending two and a half years overseas as a community development volunteer with the United States Peace Corps. He is currently doing market research and assisting with community outreach. Daren finished his M.S. in International Trade and Development from Oklahoma State University after earning his B.A. in Political Science and International Studies at Baldwin-Wallace University. Daren is passionate about travel, photography and working with diverse groups of professionals and youth.

Diversity Research Internship
We are seeking an intern where a project-based internship dealing with Diversity Marketing segmentation would be a good fit. You will gain experience in research and analytics as it relates to marketing, and assist Cloutera in its diversity recruitment effort.
Diversity marketing uses data in order to customize a firm’s product marketing approach so that it fits the unique needs of each of the small segments of a larger diverse customer group and involves acknowledging that marketing and advertising must offer alternative ways of communicating to these diverse groups.

Nancy has a knack for turning chaos into calm whether she is sorting through numbers or organizing files. In fact, she has spent the bulk of her career bookkeeping for a variety of businesses covering multiple industries, and has worked as a certified tax preparer and a professional organizer. She works with absolute integrity with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Her motto is ‘work hard, make a difference, value accurate work, and do a good job.’
